Snapped some pics at the JB Andrews Airshow yesterday. Here’s some of my better ones:
Then & Now: a P-51 Mustang flying with an F-22 Raptor.
Two planes, from two services, that fought on two different fronts: a Navy F4U Corsair and an Army Air Corps P-51 Mustang.
Duplicated.
If you zoom on this one, you can see the pilot.
This is the best photo I have ever taken.

Oddly enough the last completely propeller driven dogfight occurred between Mustangs and Corsairs during a short war between El Salvador and Honduras in the 60s.

Fascinating. I’m going to steal that for a new series I’m trying to start.

Nice shots. I haven’t been to a proper air show in a long time. There are some coming up this fall here in TX that I want to go to. Here’s hoping the weather holds.

Excellent shots. Love those pics of the Mustang & Raptor, they make such an interesting pair.

Go for it, I only know of it from a forum post on Warthunder so I’m sure there is some vetting to do.

Oh, don’t worry. I’ll be sure vet. I have found, though, that enthusiast forums can be good places for info because enthusiasts are often complete nerds about a subject, and have done far more reading than I ever will.
